In response to the torrential rains and floods that have deluged Sudan, the Saudi Aid Airlift has sent the first batch of food and shelter aid. This is to support those who have been affected by the floods and torrential rains. KSrelief dispatched support in response to the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

According to the ambassador, the humanitarian aid comes to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the torrential rain and floods in various Sudanese cities and governorates. This reflects the strong bilateral relationship. Furthermore, he stressed that the Kingdom will always support international relief efforts for all needy people throughout the world.

As part of Saudi Arabia’s continuous support for humanitarian assistance and relief work, it is helping disadvantaged groups throughout the world. The third batch of relief aid from KSrelief was delivered to the National Disaster Management Authority Pakistan. This included 10,000 food baskets weighing 950 tons loaded on 100 trucks, to be distributed to flood victims in Pakistan.
